CLEMSON MOTORSPORTS FESTIVAL - APRIL 17
The Clemson Motorsports Festival is a different kind of car show. Most shows these days focus on one particular make or model or region, which limits the appeal of the show to certain enthusiasts. The organizers for the Clemson Motorsports Festival (CMF) have taken a different approach. Their aim is to bring all members of the automotive community together to share their differing passions and inform other “car nuts” of the different hobbies and interests that are out there. Everyone from muscle car enthusiasts to sports car enthusiasts to off-road enthusiasts come out to show their rides and ogle over everyone else’s and share their passion and hard work with others in the automotive community.
The CMF is a relatively new show, being in its third year, but it continues to grow each year, with the goal of one day becoming a major event in the southeast and a staple event for Clemson University. Each year has featured different activities for participants to take part in. The first year featured a mobile dyno that entrants could test their cars (and trucks) power limits on, while last year, the Clemson Off-Road Club brought out an RTI ramp to test the limits of their machines’ articulation ability. We have plenty of other surprises in store for this years show.
The date for this year is April 17. Registration and sponsorship information can be found at www.clemsonmotorsportsfestival.com. We are eager to accommodate anyone and everyone interested with several sponsorship and club packages available. The club packages include $5 off each member’s registration fee if 10 or more members register and a spot on the main stage banner if 20 or more members register. Sponsor packages include a 10’x10’ area for your business’s tent with spots for two cars to show all the way up to a 20’x10’ tent area and four spaces for cars and your shops logo on the event t-shirt and main stage banner.
